Workman Circle/ Martin Luther King Jr. Day Exhibit and Workshop

A full day of interactivity for youth and families to  honor Martin Luther King. Over 300 painted tiles were exhibited, live poetry, musical performances and art workshop. About 300 particpants in this event from all parts of Los Angeles including170 residents from the Jordan Downs Housing Community.

Aleph Kallah Conference

Seventy Seven painted tiles were created in workshops at Colorado State University by youth of the conference from all parts of US. Over 600 people viewed the mural in progress as it was displayed on the ground by a lake during the Shabbot Art Walk Friday evening.

This workshop was held in colaboration with Sunday Open Sunday. 80 painted tiles created by youth and families for the Un Mural in this workshop to be exhibited at the Ford theater and at the UN exhibit in Geneva, Switzerland.

The mural of 400 tiles was exhibited like a patchwork quilt on stage at the John Anson Ford Theater for a performance with Keshet Chaim Dance Ensemble as part of New Jerusalem Rhythms.
