A special Kids For Peace mural created by Gayle Gale with the local community of West Hollywood and installed at West Hollywood Elementary School in the foyer.

Kids for Peace Workshops

Salvador, Bahia, Brazil

March, 1999

Kids for Peace traveled to Salvador, Bahia, Brasil. New tiles were created through a month of magical workshops with the homeless street kids at Projecto Ibeji in El Salvador- Bahia, Brazil.

There was tremendous enthusiasm for the project with extensive press coverage in the two local newspapers and two local television stations. The tiles from Brazil are being stored in Los Angeles and are available for exhibition.
